what to put where!

Postby crazyguider » 16 Mar 2009 17:10

HI
I have a south facing garden, with a large Ash tree at the southern end. the Southern end of the garden is nearly always in shade, so I can sort that bit out. the other end of the garden slopes down to the house, slightly and is in full sun. the 2 beds her back onto a small stone wall, so the get quite hot, and drain quite rapidly. currently I have poppies, rudbeckia, a bay tree, verbena bonariensis, red campion and bulbs here. the beds are about 3' x 3' and are very gappy.
Can anyone give me any suggestions as to what else to plant (not annuals), please. preferably things that don't go mad, or stay too small!
Mnay thanks :?

Hello,

If you have a look through our section on the website about drought tolerant plants, there are plenty of plants there that will fit the bill.
