The mid green leaves of this semi-evergreen climber are tinged with purple in winter and emerge flushed with bronze in spring. It makes an ideal backdrop for the scented cream coloured flowers. This unusual semi-evergreen climber is excellent for training against walls or up a pergola and in a warm summer large sausage-shaped fruit may form.
