Pretty single white flowers 10-15cm across with overlapping silver-mauve sepals and cream anthers in June. This beautiful clematis is very compact, making it suitable for growing in a pot or even in a hanging basket. An excellent climber that performs well in sun or shade, in fact some shade helps to develop its unique mother-of-pearl colour more so than in full sun.

Garden care: While no regular pruning is required removing the dead stem-tips in late February or early March will keep the plant looking tidy. Apply a slow-release balanced fertiliser and a mulch of well-rotted garden compost around the base of the plant in early spring.
