This fast growing summer cabbage is probably one of the best early ballhead types. The light green heads are really tasty and the plants have a good resistance to bolt.

  • Growing Instructions:

Sow in mid February in pots or trays under glass then transplant outdoors for the earliest heads in June. Alternatively sow thinly outdoors from mid March to the end of May in a prepared seedbed 13mm deep. Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle (about 5 weeks from sowing) in to well prepared soil in a sunny spot allowing around 40cm between each. Later sowings from the end of May will produce quality heads into October.
