Used to great effect in Cleve Wests 'Best in Show' garden for the Daily Telegrah at the 2001 Chelsea Flower Show, this creeping evergreen perennial became one of the most sought-after plants in the show. It forms a dense colourful mat of foliage which is topped with small rounded flowers that are followed by vivid red spurs. These contrast beautifully with the bronze foliage which is much-divided into small rounded leaflets.
Garden Care:The creeping stems will root along their length where they touch the ground so it may be necessary to remove unwanted stems to restrict its spread.
