Novice gardener in need of adivce

Postby kellyb187 » 18 May 2012 08:52

Hello everyone

I think I have bitten off more than I can chew....

I normally pop down to the local garden homebase and buy my flower plugs on pop them straight into my hanging baskets and window boxes. This year I thought I'd go head to head against my mum and her fabulous garden displays and plant some different flowers so I went on the internet and have purchased approx 100 beautifully colourful plant plugs such as...

BIDENS GOLDSTAR
GERANIUM GERAINBOW WHITE
PETUNIA MILLION BELLS RED
PETUNIA PINK STAR
FUCHSIA GIANT MARCUS GRAHAM
PETUNIA TUMBELINA INGA
PETUNIA TRAILING RED VELVET
FUCHSIA ERUPTION
PETUNIA WHITE

After the excitement of purchasing them I thought that Id better have a little read up on them and realised that I have bought 30mm and 40mm plugs which seem tiny to me. I guess that these plugs need extra looking after and cant go straight outside.

Help, I havent got a clue what I should do with them and will be arriving any day now!!! :?

Thank you in advance
