Buddleja davidii ‘Harlequin’ is a deciduous shrub. It has arching stems clothed in variegated, lance-shaped, green and cream leaves. Purple-red, fragrant flowers are produced in summer, butterflies are particularly attracted to the flowers; hence the common name. Prune Buddleja davidii ‘Harlequin’ hard every spring, this produces the vigorous, young wood that bares lots of flowers.
